Nightstrike's Reviews: Sweet Bunny - GF Bakery, Crepery, Gelateria

A recent daytrip through New Paltz, New York served as the backdrop for some "foodie exploration". The town is tourist-central, with boutiques and cafes lining the streets. We lucked into this establishment just before the lunch crowd. And I do mean lucked! Normally, as those of you who are on the gluten-free diet know, many of these foods can be dry and chalky, as they crumble out of your hands and leave a residual paste sensation on your tongue. However this place is an exception to the rule, offering up a delightful assortment of homemade (on the premises) menu items. I am unable to recommend all of the food items as we only tried a few there, but I CAN recommend the few items we chose, which were as follows:

> Cheddar & Ham Crepe

> 3 Cheese & Tomato Crepe (Swiss, Cheddar, & Feta)

> Salted Caramel Mocha Mini Cupcake

> Strawberry Mini Cupcake

The crepes, despite being a little soggy in texture (they weren't actually soggy, they just were thick), lived up to their descriptions, and were absolutely delicious. Normally I'm used to a crisper crepe, but these were just as good if not better. The mini cupcakes may seem small, but they pack quite a punch! The flavor was incredibly rich, and the frosting on top of the salted caramel mocha was perfect. I left satisfied, and hope to be able to drop by again for another round.

Overall, I would rate this place a perfect 5 out of 5. Seeing as I don't often rate something this great, you probably will want to try it! The details of the bakery are below:
