Project Interlude: Software And Not So Soft Walls...

You all probably are at least somewhat familiar with the software I use: Tinkercad. You've probably heard that it's possibly the worst software for designing Transformers. Indeed, it's a bit of a learning curve, given how rudimentary it is compared to others, but I've managed. However, as I gradually increase the complexity of my designs, I'm going to need to use something else in tandem with Tinkercad, for fine details, and atypical surfaces. Blender is one of the more highly recommended programs, due to how versatile it is.
That being said, there are a LOT of features I won't need, so the appearance is a little nerve-racking to say the least. I'll still be using Tinkercad for the main parts, but details such as atypical curved sections, faces, and fur will all be done in Blender to make them the best they can possibly be. As of right now, I currently am aiming to complete Bludgeon solely in Tinkercad, but his Pretender shell might be partially done using Blender.
Other future projects that may end up making use of Blender are Monstructor, and a few custom requests I've received. Overlord's upgrade kit will also have a slicker head piece, with two face options.
While I work on Bludgeon, though, I find myself hitting a few walls with his design. Because of these technicalities, this main version of him is Leader-class, and I still have yet to figure out the black magic for his treads.
Stay tuned for more updates on current and future projects!
A quick little post while I take a breather on Bludgeon...
