Yep. You called it. Another Patterson book. Something of a one-shot, Killer Instinct, by James Patterson and Howard Roughan is certainly an interesting novel. Written in 2019, Killer Instinct is largely influenced by a lot of modern social issues, and made a few comedic references to the 2016 election. That being said, if you're tired of the drama regarding that, don't worry! The focus of this novel is far from that.
Dr. Dylan Reinhart, a Cambridge professor, is caught up in the investigation of a terrorist attack in New York, and finds himself reconnecting with Agent Elizabeth Needham, as they attempt to foil the work of a mad genius.
I don't have too much else to say about this one, as this is another one of those where plot elements would be critical to describing it, but I do highly recommend reading it. A fair amount of humor, as well as some seriously good writing.
Overall Rating: 8/10
