Nightstrike's Reviews: One Quick Catch-Up Post

I obviously won't have pictures for everything I managed to get a hold of, since last I wrote, but I will do my best to cover it all.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Starting off this combined review, is a figure from a line I never thought I'd be interested in, Spark Armor Shockwave.
Hailing from the Cyberverse series, this brightly colored version of everyone's favorite cyclops is back with a vengeance.
No really! He's scowling! With only one eye! While he lacks his normal gun mode, I am intrigued by the drone mode.
Though the colors are a little . . . bright, it's very hard to get Shockwave right. This is one of those times. What he lacks for in articulation, since he's only a little taller than legends class, he makes up for in sculpt. The details call back to his most recent iteration in the formerly ongoing comic series.
It took a while to find the two Battlemasters, but I did, and I'm not wholly impressed, but they do make for good accessories.
Caliburst and Smashdown both come with new blast effects, one of which could be used for Megatron as his fusion-blast, but Smashdown's can be used in a rather unique way. "Hammer-time!"
In terms of design, Caliburst and the other mainline Battlemasters all use the same mold, while Smashdown is new.
I also managed to snag another Micromaster Patrol, in the form of Highjump and Powertrain. The pair is the mainline tooling of Ricon and Irontread(who by the way, is getting his Micromaster base!) with much more generic head designs. Not much else to say about the combined weapon mode. Not as strong as the military and jet types. No photos because the orange doesn't photograph well.
Here's some other angles. I apologize for the slight blurriness. Terrible lighting struck again. If you want more detailed shots, head over to Seibertron's galleries to take a look.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

But wait, there's more! I'll be doing new versions of Project Monstrosity and Project Doublespy over the course of the next couple of months(mainly because high-school homework), so you can expect to see that stuff to show up over time.
