This one's really short, because of a few personal projects, and school starting back up soon. I'm also going to be redoing some more pages on the site.

No, not the TV show! I'm talking about the Stephen King book! Clocking in at over 1000 pages, this was an interesting read, and honestly . . . I'd read it again. The book has a similar premise as Michael Grant's Gone series, but definitely outdoes it when it comes to the science. As you probably tell from the title, a capsule-like barrier (not actually a dome, because it falls on town borders) suddenly appears, trapping Chester Mill's residents inside. Air and smaller particles can obviously get in, but anything larger is blocked. The book has its fair share of characters, many of them not . . . all there. The cast is certainly colorful, ranging from a hermit who believes God told him to kill everyone, to an ex-military officer(that also happens to be the main character, Dale Barbara) and plenty more. I'm not going to spoil the book, since literally every section is a plot twist, but I will mention this: Out of the 1000 or so townspeople, only a handful survive.
