Collector's Cravings: Latest Reveals

With TFCon and San Diego's ComicCon happening currently, there are a lot of unexpected reveals making their way towards our collections, including some of the characters you least expected to see.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kicking it off, is the reveal of a certain planet-eating giant who had a recent debut in the end of the formerly ongoing IDW comic series.
No, not Galactus! This is Transformers we're talking about!
Behold, Unicron! (With moving horns, jaw, and vortex generator!)
Hasbro is kicking off their crowdfunding campaigns with the mother(father) of all Siege figures, Unicron.
Designed by Haslab, this figure, standing taller than the Titan-class figures, requires 8000 backers and will be $574.99(plus fees and taxes). While the price tag is a turn-off for many people, and even I would be fine with a non-transforming display case that looks like the dark god, the figure has quite the appeal. Even the mouth opens, to mimic his screaming!
Next up on the list of surprising reveals, was that of Micromaster scale Gobots, from MechFansToys.
Courtesy of Seibertron, we also have a look at the recently revealed figures, as well as some new ones. First up, is the line's first Micromaster Combiner, in the form of Power-Punch and Direct-Hit! Here's hoping we see some more! Also, we get a better look at Astrotrain's shuttle mode, and part of him turns into a launch-pad. Clever!
The next pleasant surprise, was that of two more cassettes! Rumble(OR Frenzy, but still RIRFIB) and Ratbat make their way into the Micromaster's roster, and hopefully we'll see the rest!
We also get a better look at Apeface, Crosshairs, and a strange silver Firebolt. If you thought I was done, you're quite wrong. Presenting, everyone's favorite Psychiatrist with huge eyebrows . . . *drumroll* . . . Rong! Ring? Oh, Rung! Very unexpected, is this famous character from IDW, who we all though was going to go without a figure, alongside the likes of Tarn.
Besides this, we also get a look at the rumored Micromaster 10-pack, and while not all of the members are confirmed, most are pretty obvious. Clockwise from left: Skyhopper, (probably) Eagle Eye, -unknown-, Groundshaker, -unknown-, -unknown-, Tote, -unknown-, Powerbomb, Gunlift
I'll continue to provide updates to this post after the break point below. Stay tuned!
Edit 1: Yellow-orange semi confirmed as Ironworks. Red jet is potentially Airwave.
Edit 2 (7/19/19): Micromasters are as shown below:
  • Wheel Blaze retains his name, but not his combiner feature. Goodbye, Road Burner!
  • Ironworks is renamed as Irontread. Sadly no Micromaster bases are in the works
  • Gunlift is renamed as Fireline.
  • Powerbomb is renamed has Cratermaker.
  • Skyhopper retains his name, mostly. He's now SLYhopper..
  • Ground Shaker retains his name.
  • Road-Police retains his name. Yay!
  • Overair is the Japanese version of Airwave. Strange, that they chose to use that name...
  • 6 'bots versus 4 'cons. *sigh* Why do the cons always get outnumbered?
  • Ricon as far as I know, is a reference to the name, RI Construction, which is printed on Ironworks' original set. He's an original figure.
Also, there is an exclusive three pack, comprised of Decepticon Impactor, Holographic Mirage, and Powerdasher Aragon. Aragon's the car type, now done as a weaponizer.
