Yeah, I'm changing things up. I used to just do the first book in a series, but now I'm aiming for that 50 review mark. Continuing where The White Fox,and The Black Star had left off, this book brings the series full circle. Alex is alive, The universe can talk, and . . . Inari's a samurai? There were a lot of moments where it got that "mood" that The White Fox had, but there were also some plot twists so out of left field, you'd think they just arrived. Once again, though the book is a satisfying (if not strange) end to the series, and the book itself is just really well-written. This trilogy has a trend of using doomsday quotes from classical literature, that adds a bit of an edgy note.
Final Rating: 4.9/5
