Ninth Product In The Works! Beginning Project DoubleSpy...

Punch/Counterpunch was always a popular character despite the lack of media appearances, so why have we never gotten a legends-scale version?

There have been customs, conversion kits, a Kreon figure(called Nightbeat, oddly enough), and two exclusives, but nothing from any third parties, for those who have legends collections.

This set, is designed to remedy that. You may be thinking, "why make another Doublespy? We've got a two TFCC exclusives, and a POTP deluxe." Do you really want Punch to tower over Optimus Prime, who's supposed to be a truck? This figure keeps more in scale with those. Punch here, isn't exactly a simple DoubleSpy, though . . .

Presenting, Bipolaris! Since third parties are starting to create legends-class Headmasters, I figured now was my chance to try one of my own. If Headmasters aren't your thing, don't worry! There will be a "de-headmastering" kit coming soon.

Now, what makes the DoubleSpy feature work for my version is a flip-up faceplate a-la Generation One Headmasters. (Yes, those two panels are the flip-up faceplates)

Here's a "closer" look at the first parts of my prototype. As you can see there are a few minor details that need fixing, but it came out pretty well on my printer. Some sections needed trimming because it offset the first two layers of plastic, but besides that, there weren't really any problems with the print.

Here's a closer look at the Headmaster. Bipolaris will be in the shop first. And yes, he'll have a face. Once I'm finished with the body, that will go up second, and then I'll design the weaponry. This project still needs some tweaking, but you can expect it to hit the shop soon!
