Fourth Release! And It's a "Monstrous" One!

Over this Spring Break, I was reminded of an idea I had last year. There are plenty of combiners I'd love to tackle, but this one happened to be at the top of the list. Remember back sometime in 2012, or 2013, when Fansproject revealed their Dinoking, and more notably Monstructor? They intended to release Dinoking...

...as an exclusive, and have Monstructor...

...as the wider release. Unfortunately, the color test-shot above, is as far as they had gotten with 'ol skull-face, and Dinoking became their beast combiner. They didn't even do the other three members!
As a toy, Monstructor has not gotten a toy since his G1 set, and neither Hasbro, nor Takara, nor third parties, seem intent on making this famous combiner, despite his recent surge of appearances and mentions in the comics.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the scary guy, Monstructor was Hasbro's final G1 combiner (in the US, at least), and was noted to have certain abilities. His hands could secrete some sort of acid, causing rust. His six components, Icepick, Slog, Scowl, Wildfly, Bristleback, and Birdbrain, were all Pretenders possessing rather "monstrous" shells. If you look at the toy, though, these shells were more in the style of chibi-figurines, simply being rubber statues that had a hole in the back to insert the Pretender. Looking at it today, it was no feat of engineering, as there was room for joints in the shell, but at the time, Hasbro did not know of the innovational Ball-joints that allowed for a wide range of articulation and transformation.

The IDW/Dreamwave comics handled him differently. The six Pretender Monsters were regular guys recruited by Jhiaxus to participate in a unique project: Combination. Jhiaxus was aiming to bring the phrase 'till all are one,' to a whole new level. He was attempting to make a unified group, who could work together, but instead, this experiment devolved into a monster. Omega Supreme locked the monstrosity up in some sort of dimensional prison, but the Monstructor Six escaped. The team had a connection, and were unified, but not in a good way. It was as if, "the instinct to destroy was hardwired into them."

----
Monstructor is an evil force, with his very presence able to cause life to slowly wither away. He has virtually no weaknesses(except for the connector under his armor).
----
As stated before, nobody has really put focus into Monstructor, until now...
Presenting....
The legs of Monstructor!

The image above, is a rough mockup of the legs, but isn't that different from the final product, with only the chest detail missing. The feet and thighs become weaponry, but neither is finalized. Below, is what I used for reference:

The feet are modeled after the IDW design, with a few minor references being made to the original design. I'll probably remodel the thighs to make them more proportionate, but these parts will be sold in the Combiner Part Set.
Now, onto the real deal! Icepick will be the first member of the team to be available to the public. His design was challenging, but I figured out something that would allow him to look both accurate, and
proportionate, so I designed a sliding piece in the torso, to mimic the underbite of the original Icepick.
All my prototypes are home-printed, with an XYZ Da Vinci Mini W, so they are a little different from the appearance of anything you purchase, seeing as Shapeways uses industrial printers.
Below are the pics of this "Frosty Fanatic" as well as the purchase link:

This prototype shown here still needs a little cleaning up, seeing as the supports I used didn't particularly want to come off, but this gives you a clear idea of what it should look like. Stay tuned for more figures!
