The White Fox, by James Bartholomeusz is different from my previous books, but not in the way I've said in previous reviews. It has two genres. Both sci-fi and fantasy come together for a thrilling novel. Jack Lawson, the main character and protagonist, is an orphan who lives somewhere in the UK. He has a rather depressed outlook on life, but after his friend . . . Wait this isn't right . . .
({[Warning: Spoiler-Heavy Ahead!]})
There! That's better! After his friend (presumed dead, or in mental facility) came back, he was dragged into something not so mundane. This book goes from 0(Teachers who hate him) to coming Darkness in just a few pages. Jack joins up with an organization known as the Apollonians to defeat the mysterious Cult of Dionysus, and put an end to their plans . . . but wait! There's a second book{The Black Rose}, which could mean only one thing -- INFORMATION REDACTED
This book was amazing, and deserves a 5-star rating, as it cleverly explained the origins of mythical characters and fauna, as well as making the reader want more! If you want to hear more about this book, I suggest you pick it up and start reading!
